STUD FLOP DRAW

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 21, 2026

SFD Technology, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Stud Flop Draw (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information: name and email address when you create an account
  • Waitlist information: name, email, and optional referral source when you sign up for our waitlist
  • Payment information: when you subscribe to a paid tier, payment details (card number, billing address, etc.) are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. We receive and store limited information from Stripe, including your customer ID, subscription status, billing period, and partial card details (e.g., last four digits) for display on receipts

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data: queries submitted to our calculators (game type, hand inputs, calculation parameters)
  • Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps
  • Analytics data: pageviews, feature usage, and aggregate interaction patterns

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Send transactional emails (login links, account notifications)
  • Send promotional emails about new features, product updates, and offers. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each email. Opting out of promotional emails does not affect transactional emails related to your account
  • Process payments and manage paid subscriptions
  • Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
  • Understand how the Service is used and improve the user experience
  • Communicate with you about changes to the Service

3. Legal Basis for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity: processing required to provide the Service to you (account management, authentication, delivering calculations)
  • Legitimate interest: improving the Service, enforcing rate limits, preventing abuse, and understanding usage patterns — where these interests are not overridden by your rights
  • Consent: where you have provided consent, such as by creating an account. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or deleting your account

4. Cookies

We use strictly functional cookies to operate the Service, including authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, DNS, and analytics
  • Postmark — transactional email delivery (login links, account notifications)
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management for paid tiers. Stripe processes billing information in accordance with its own privacy policy

These services may process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data and analytics are retained for the purpose of improving the Service. Billing and transaction records are retained as required by applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations (typically seven years in the United States), even after account deletion. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (including billing and tax records).

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and applicable authorities as required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account
  • Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@studflopdraw.com. We will respond to requests within 30 days.

9. California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at admin@studflopdraw.com.

10. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, including from the European Economic Area (EEA), your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
